Clinical Informatics Elective
Clinical informatics is the application of information technology to help deliver healthcare services. It is one of the newest clinical sub-specialties recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), with its very first delegates certified within the last decade. Clinical Informatics is an exciting, rapidly growing, and rapidly evolving medical specialty, with only a handful of two-year fellowship programs recognized by the ACGME.
