Indications for Therapy in Chronic HBV:

• Acute liver failure (ALF) or decompensated cirrhosis
• Compensated cirrhosis
• Patients without cirrhosis
  • HBeAg +  (20,000 IU/mL, ALT > 2x or biopsy)
  • HBeAg –   (2,000 IU/mL, ALT > 2x or biopsy)
  • Patients receiving immunosuppression
  • Pregnant women (high viral loads, 3rd trimester, TFV)
  • Patients with HCC
  • HCV coinfected
  • Patients with HIV
