Quality Improvement (QI) has become an essential skill in order to transform healthcare delivery as well as medical education. Housestaff engage in QI starting during late internship by developing the knowledge and processes to conduct effective QI, and then implementing those skills with real-world projects.  Housestaff are grouped by their Pod, and each group will be expected to identify and conduct their own QI project.
